Fundraising Executive

The Wellington City Mission is one of Wellington's longest established providers of holistic social support to individuals and families in need, having served the community for over 114 years.

The Wellington City Mission prides itself on being open to anyone who needs assistance, regardless of religious belief, age, ethnicity or social background. Our four Mission programmes (Families, Youth, Independence and Seniors) are open to everyone living in the Greater Wellington region.

Reporting to the Marketing & Fundraising Manager, the key focus of this role is to deliver income from grants, within the Marketing & Fundraising team. You will lead in developing and delivering our strategic plans for income generation and reporting in this area. You will also coordinate our annual Street Day appeal event across Wellington.

The successful applicant will have grant writing experience, donor database management experience, well developed communication and relationship management skills, and have a passion for seeing the lives of those most in need improved. 

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours (full-time) or 30 hours (part-time) per week.
