Our Ministry

The Chapel of St Thomas

The Chapel of St Thomas in Newtown reflects the heart of mission; to manifest Jesus Christ in all walks of life, whether its sharing food and conversation over the table, clothing, shelter, budget advice, care or encouragement.  All these things reflect the heart of God who lifts us up and restores us.  The chapel is always open with the Drop-in Centre from 10.00am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.  During these times you are most welcome to use this sacred space to simply sit and be still in the presence of God, or you can request prayer support from the City Missioner, Susan Blaikie.  The Priest in Charge of Wellington South, Karen Dhryberg, leads an Anglican service at the chapel at 9.00am each Sunday morning.  The Chapel of St Thomas is located at 200 Riddiford St, Newtown, Wellington.

The Chapel of St Nicholas

The Chapel of St Nicholas in Titahi Bay is an important part of Kemp Home & Hospital.  As well as first class nursing care, clients and family members appreciate the faith-based element of their stay at Kemp, with a Chaplain on site providing regular services and spiritual support.
